What is Follow the Sun 101?

We started a small dream almost ten years ago where we wrote down a small list of places we wanted to see together. It quickly snowballed into a dream of taking a year to travel the world. We had planned to start that trip in 2020 but you all know how that story goes. So, we are taking a chance on this trip again and we left on April 8th! We plan to follow the sun as we go and, for us, that means following warm weather along our route. So, while we plan to make it to some cold places, you’re more likely to see us there in warmer times of the year.

While our original plan to travel had us in over 50 countries in just over a year, we’re approaching this trip with a lot more flexibility and a much slower pace in mind. For the first few months, we’ll be exploring Europe and then we’ll see where we go from there.
